WOW! What can you say about such a fantastic and complete American Flyer mechanical train outfit? Every piece of the set is original. Includes: American Flyer prewar set 19 "The Panama Limited" with set box and inserts, 14 loco that works well with it's key, 120 tender, 1103 coach, 1157 observation. Both with "Oriental Limited" above the windows. 90 station, 207 semaphore, 251 tunnel, 220 station clock, 202 warning signal, 203 twin blinker and a complete oval of very nice original AF two rail track for mechanical outfits. The train itself is quite nice. The engine runs, has ten spoke drivers and the "T" handle protruding from the rear of the cab. The car roofs are original. One has what appears to me to be a wet paint stripe where the paint was rubbed off when wet. More than likely when manufactured. It does not to appear to be scratched off. The tin accessories are nice but do have normal play wear and some waviness to the station roof. The often damaged composition tunnel is nice and solid. The set box bottom is very solid, the top has some wear and one rear corner that is separated. It is also marked on the top in script "Read & Phillips". Possibly a department store. This is printed on the box, not hand written or a stick on label. Includes the original inserts and dividers.
