HOGE # 1000 COMMODORE VANDERBILT STREAMLINER

HOGE 1000 STREAMLINE PASSENGER SET. c.1935.   Original. This was the top of the line Hoge set.  Stunning in black and chrome and an impressive size for an "O" gauge train.  The engine is about 12" long and stands about 4" tall with an 0-6-0 wheel arrangement.  The set is nearly 4' long.  The motor is complete with a reversing mechanism.  The motor runs, but is erratic because of the quirky Hoge reverse unit.
