LIONEL 260E, 260T, 710, 710, 712 PASSENGER SET. c.1930.  Original. All castings are good. The set (241E) consists of the black 260E with cream stripe which was produced only in1930, 260T eight wheel tender  with matching cream stripe and black frame, two 710 pullmans, 712 observation in red with ivory windows and apple green doors. This was the first year for the 260E and this set was Lionel's top of line passenger set for the next five years, however after 1930 the loco was the green frame variation. The engine runs and has the early pendulum e-unit which as we all know is temperamental.  I believe the flags on the engine are newer replacements. Other than that the set is original.  A very clean set with a nice patina. It would grade (TCA grading standard) Very Good.
