LIONEL CITY OF DENVER, 636W, 637, 637, 638 STREAMLINE PASSENGER SET. c.1936-39.  A nice set for the operator or collector. Overall some chips and scratches but displays nicely.   Some old touchups, mainly on vestibules, much of which has worn off again.   The roofs may have been done long ago. The set has been tested, the motor runs smoothly but the e-unit does not cycle by itself but if you manually move the drum it does cycle. Perhaps just a missing wire connection?  The whistle and lighted cars work.    The engine is missing the front marker jewels and one missing number plate on one 637 coach.
